Crazy town banana pants

A list of things I did on February 24, 2011:

• Went to Les Invalides, better known as Napoleon’s tomb
• Almost cried while inside Napoleon’s tomb
• Got extremely mad at the guys for making fun of Napoleon
• Sang Beyonce’s “Diva” with Mike
• Bought my precious poster of David’s Napoleon Crossing the Alps
• Went to Versailles
• Sat next to Ryan in front of a statue of Louis XIV, made Nyera jealous (muaahahah)
• Along with Deirdre, went ahead from the group with Matt, Ryan, Mike and Sean
• Got yelled at by the Doctor (no, not that Doctor) which was terrifying because let’s be real, she’s everyone in my French class’s second mom (save the one student who is actually her daughter)
• Sat with Deirdre, Matt and Ryan on a bench that can be spotted in the background of Midnight in Paris
• Watched as Sean and the Doctor con their way into getting back into the palace even though it was closed after having left their umbrellas (it was pretty impressive)
• Sat next to Brendo at dinner (an unexpected treat!)
• Watched Jules consume about 12 servings of mousse, turn green
• Partook in the infamous train ride shenanigans while returning to Paris from Versailles
• Walked around the Latin Quarter speaking in a Canadian accent
• Got made fun of by French people due to my dumb Canadian accent
• Had a hilarious conversation with a drunken Mike
• Got invited to a party by Mike
• Considered going with Deirdre
• Did not go to the party as we could not leave our room since one of the chaperones was across the terrace from us
• Got Heinekens out of the vending machine
• Cried because we were leaving the next day
